The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Superintendent to join our Energy and Utilities team in WA. This role will be an 8/6 roster DIDO on company time.
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to Electrical engineering disciplines, electrical works, ensuring that all project activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the schedule, budget, and quality requirements. This role involves leadership of site teams, management of subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. The superintendent will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of all project phases.
What we are looking for
Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (preferred). Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Project Management, HSE) (desirable). Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction, mining, or resources sector, with a proven track record in managing teams. Extensive experience in managing electrical engineering on large-scale projects Demonstrated ability to manage and lead large, diverse teams and subcontractors Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams Excellent knowledge of project management tools and processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Proficient in MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).What we offer
