The role:

Site Shunters allocate bays for vehicles and trailers for unloading and loading, log and record trailer movements on and off-site and coordinate all trailer requirements with the warehouse and transport.

As a Site Shunter at NEXT, you'll be responsible for making sure the Drivers follow site procedures including choking, parking, coupling and uncoupling and monitor the yard area to safeguard pedestrians.

 

 

What you’ll take on:

 

As a Site Shunter, you will work closely with the warehouse and transport teams

to ensure the timely and safe tipping of stockUnderstand despatch and loading requirements and allocate bays to ensure we meet deadlines

 

What you’ll bring:

Class 1 C&E licence and CPC cardMaximum of 6 points on licenceMinimum 1 year LGV driving experienceShunting experience preferredTeam-player who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills
