Be part of a team setting science in motion across the biopharma, healthcare and advanced technologies industries. **Type:** Contract (6-9 months) **Location:** MUST be willing to travel between South San Francisco (94080) and Vacaville (95688) as required (mileage is paid). **Rate:** $28-$31/hr **Summary:** + Plays a key role in managing and supporting all operational aspects of Site Services. This position involves project coordination, customer interaction, training, and process improvement to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence. Some travel to customer sites is required. **Duties:** + Oversee and execute all operational functions within Site Services. + Collaborate with management to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Scopes of Work, training programs, and other operational projects. + Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, including purchasing directors, facility directors, and plant managers, to procure lab supplies and materials. + Utilize internal and customer systems for service management, including ESS, Citrix, SAP, Ariba, ChemSW, and other platforms. + Train associates on all service offerings and best practices. + Provide advanced (Level 3) ESS support, including customer service, credit rebills, and invoice reconciliation. + Develop, monitor, and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators to ensure operational efficiency. + Manage budgets related to expenses and operational reporting. + Achieve revenue, safety, performance, and quality goals. + Design and implement programs to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction. + Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and operational objectives. **Qualifications:** + HS Diploma/GED, Degree in business or science field is preferred + 3-5+ yrs of experience in Inventory Control, Procurement, Shipping and Receiving. + Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required. + Must be able to travel at least 50% of the time. + Strong communication and presentation skills. + Knowledge of Information Access and System ESS; proficient Microsoft Office and computer skills. _This job description is a complete list of all desired skills, but not all are required.
