Are you a multi-skilled engineer with a passion for maintaining and improving site services in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? Walkers Deli & Sausage Co. is looking for a proactive Site Services Engineer to join our team and help ensure our plant and facilities run smoothly and efficiently.
Perform planned and reactive maintenance on plant equipment and building infrastructure. Conduct preventative servicing on systems including steam plants, refrigeration, compressed air, and water distribution. Carry out electrical installations, repairs, and improvements across the site. Ensure compliance with legislative inspections and testing, including legionella and audit standards (BRC, PIU). Supervise contractors and support emergency callouts, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene. The Ideal Candidate

NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in electrical or multi-skilled engineering. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities across electrical and mechanical systems. Solid understanding of health and safety compliance, including PUWER and COSHH. Experience with steam plant equipment, refrigeration systems, and general building maintenance. Flexible, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach.
