We have an exciting opportunity for a **Site Security Officer** shift from **6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.** to support **Indianapolis, IN** site.

The **Site Security Officer** is responsible for safeguarding the company’s physical assets, personnel, and proprietary information. This role involves monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, responding to incidents, and supporting overall risk management strategies. The ideal candidate is vigilant, professional, and well-versed in corporate security practices. Shift coverage as needed, including days, nights, and weekends.

This role will be on site at the Corteva Indianapolis Global Headquarters.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Patrol and monitor corporate facilities to detect and prevent unauthorized access, theft, or damage.
+ Enforce access control policies and verify credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
+ Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control software.
+ Respond to alarms and emergencies, including security breaches, medical emergencies, and fire incidents.
+ Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily activity logs.
+ Assist with investigations related to internal or external security incidents.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
+ Support the development and implementation of security procedures and training programs.
+ Maintain knowledge of current security technologies, threats, and best practices.
+ Participate in risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate vulnerabilities.
**What Skills You Need:**
+ High school diploma required.
+ Associate degree Preferred.
+ Minimum of 4+ years of previous experience in corporate security, military, law enforcement, or a similar role.
+ Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
+ Proficiency with surveillance systems and security technologies.
+ Excellent observation and problem-solving skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Ability to remain calm and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Ability to wear respirator.

+ Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
+ May require standing or patrolling for extended periods.
+ May involve exposure to stressful situations or confrontational individuals.
+ First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
