As a Site Security Lead, you will be part of a dedicated team based at the head office in Mississauga Canada, and reporting to the Regional Security Director. This position is responsible for a variety of tasks to include all physical security responsibilities for the Mississauga Distribution Center including providing security, safety, executive operations, investigative related oversight and guidance to Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) business units. This position will work with various business units, asset protection professionals, local law enforcement and outside consultants, where required.

What you will get to do
Security & Safety Services at the Millcreek facility.
Manage the Proprietary and/or 3rd party vendor security services.
Directing visitors and controlling access at all Security Posts.
Monitoring CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
Patrolling and securing areas inside and outside the facility.
Implementing physical security improvements.
Documenting security and safety related incidents.
First Responder to a Crisis Situation. Administer First Aid, CPR, AED, NARCAN, etc., as required.
Liaison with local, provincial and federal law enforcement agencies.
Train and develop the security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in operational effectiveness.
Prepare and manage budgets for security operations, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company security policies.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Who You are
High School Degree required, post-secondary education preferred.
4+ years’ experience in related security, law enforcement, or military.
A Valid Ontario Security Guard License would be considered an asset.
Proven experience in a leadership role within law enforcement and/or corporate security is highly desirable.
A high level of discretion and professionalism, particularly when dealing with senior executives and sensitive information.
Strong Microsoft Office computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
Extraordinary physical fitness is essential and / or other defensive skills are desirable.
CPR / AED / First Aid Training required.
Strong leadership skills including effective oral and written communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, motivating others, collaborative team player, ability to deal with obstacles and partner with senior management to identify & solve problems.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
This position may require some travel, working non-business hours and potentially weekends.
