You will be responsible for finite scheduling of SKUs on specific manufacturing assets. You will work with a supply planner to execute the master plan and make weekly adjustments to ensure product quantities are produced on time. You will be closely linked to plant operations and ensure line performance, planned downtime, and staffing assumptions are communicated to the supply planner.

Maintain master data in company systems to ensure there is a constant stream of accurate information for the blackout calendar including min lot size/rounding values, production versions, master recipes/BOMs; run rates, loss factors and changeover matricesConvert weekly supply planning orders to production planning and detailed scheduling orders as production plans roll into the finite windowHold weekly scheduling meetings with product supply to determine necessary changes to the plant’s production scheduleWork cross-functionally to ensure that labor, material, and operational inputs can support the aligned schedule. Hold internal scheduling meetings with all key team membersSequence production planning and detailed scheduling in the finite window to reflect production plans for deploymentCreate and close process orders for each week’s production and adjust daily as necessaryManage master compliance to schedule by ensuring short-, medium- and long-term plans are equivalent to process orders in the current week

SUMMARY STATEMENT: 

 

Under the direction of the Product Supply Lead, the Site Scheduler will be responsible for the development of a detailed production schedule to support production plan from Network Production Planner, while optimizing plant labour and assigned KPI targets.  A weekly schedule will be formulated and adjusted where necessary in conjunction with the Production Department. 

 

 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: (4 – 10 key statements)  

 

Responsible to maintain and update all system related production scheduling master data in, SAP or other specific system: 

Blackout Calendar 

Min Lot Size/Rounding Values 

Production Versions 

Master Recipes/BOMs 

Run Rates 

Loss Factors 

Changeover Matrices 

Convert weekly SNP orders 

Convert weekly SNP orders to PPDS planned orders as production plans roll into the finite window.  

Develop schedule with demonstrated output, working collaboratively with the Plant and Product Supply and ensuring that all planning standards are up-to-date 

Maintain production schedules for horizon determined by process to reach CFR and inventory objectives, applying ABC rules, optimizing plant labour and equipment in the most efficient manner.  

Inform all key stakeholders of any changes to the production plan in a timely manner 

Communicate production Finite Scheduling / Labour constraints to Network Production Planner 

Ensure continuous improvement on cycle times and update KPIs  

Execute their part and support the Commercialization process 

Communicate real time risk and opportunities of schedule to key stakeholders 

Any other duties as assigned by your Manager or their designate 

Hold weekly scheduling meetings with Product Supply to determine necessary changes to the plant’s production schedule.  

Work cross-functionally to ensure all labor, material, and operational inputs can support the aligned schedule- hold internal scheduling meetings with all key team members. 

Sequence PPDS planned orders in the finite window to reflect production plans for deployment. 

Create and close process orders for each week’s production and adjust daily as necessary. 

Manage master compliance to schedule by ensuring Lag2 plans are equivalent to process orders in current week and no volume has been lost. 

Maintain daily CTS report and notify Product Supply as issues arise. 

Hold quarterly blackout calendar reviews with internal team members to capture all necessary downtimes.
