Join us and be part of a global team that keeps IBM moving forward, while building your own future in a dynamic and evolving environment. **Your role and responsibilities** Core Administration * Install, configure, and upgrade WAS (ND/Base), IBM HTTP Server (IHS), and plugin modules. * Manage application deployments, JVM configurations, clusters, and nodes. * Maintain cell topology, federations, clusters, and high availability setups. Automation & Scripting (baseline for WAS role) * Create scripts using Jython/wsadmin, Shell, or Ansible for deployments, restarts, and configurations. * Automate repetitive operational tasks such as health checks, log rotation, or config backups. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 5+ years of hands-on experience administering IBM WebSphere Application Server (Base/ND) across large-scale, multi-node environments. * Strong experience in installation, configuration, federation, clusters, and deployment management. * Deep knowledge of JVM tuning, GC policies, thread/connection pool configurations, and performance tuning. * Exposure to IHS, plugin configurations, and reverse proxy setup. * Skilled in troubleshooting (heap dumps, thread dumps, FFDC analysis, hung threads, CPU/memory leaks). * Experience with SSL/TLS, keystore management, certificates renewal, and LDAP/AD integration. * Good understanding of Unix/Linux, networking basics, and security compliance.
