Site Reliability Engineer
**Essential Functions:** + As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will drive system reliability, performance, and operational excellence through automation, observability, and proactive incident management. + You’ll lead **incident response** and **root cause analysis (RCA)** for complex production issues, ensuring rapid recovery, effective communication, and long-term corrective actions. By collaborating closely with engineering teams, you’ll strengthen system resilience and continuously improve reliability practices. + You’ll design and enhance **monitoring and observability solutions** using leading APM tools (logs, metrics, and traces), building intelligent alerting frameworks to proactively detect and mitigate issues. + You’ll define and maintain **SLIs/SLOs** , identify performance bottlenecks, and apply best practices in **performance optimization** , **database management** , and **Kubernetes operations** . + The role emphasizes **automation and continuous improvement** — eliminating manual tasks, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and scaling operational efficiency through tools and scripts. + Work with a global SRE team, fostering a culture of **reliability, accountability, and continuous innovation** across teams. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field, or relevant training. Or equivalent combination + of experience and education. + 3 years’ experience in technical operations support role. + 3 years’ experience with enterprise cloud platforms. + Availability to work extended or off-cycle hours and participate in a 24/7 Site Reliability on-call rotation. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience in e-commerce application development or operations + Previous experience with AWS, GCP & Kubernetes + Experience with APM tools such as Datadog, New Relic or Dynatrace. + Experience in an agile development environment.
