Position Summary Are you ready to lead and inspire a team to ensure the highest standards of quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment? As Site Quality Director, you will oversee all quality-related activities at our UK site, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and GSK standards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of quality excellence. We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about quality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to developing their team. Responsibilities - Lead the site’s Quality team, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements. - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure consistent standards across the site. - Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections, ensuring successful outcomes. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and processes. - Ensure timely product release decisions based on compliance with quality standards. - Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth. Qualifications/Skills Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline. - Strong experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry. - Proven leadership experience managing quality teams in a GMP environment. - Strong knowledge of Quality Systems, Compliance, and Regulatory requirements. - Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Advanced degree in a related field. - Experience with laboratory operations and cross-functional business processes. - Strong people management and leadership skills. - Knowledge of risk management principles and tools.
