KEY ROLE
A great opportunity is opening in the CLIENT ’s STEL Project in the capacity of Site Project Engineer.
The Site Project Engineer will be responsible for end-to end integrated delivery of the project scope including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning of the full scope of assigned STEL Project.
The role is open for national applicants and will report to Project Delivery Lead and be part of the AGT Project management discipline community.
BASIC SKILLS Education - University degree Competent in communicating in Azerbaijani and English; both written and spoken Ability to work on own initiative and be a team player Demonstrated teamwork, communication and inter-personal skill Fluency in Microsoft 365 office suite (e.g. Word, Power Point, Excel, Naviswork etc.). Exceptionally well organised; strong work ethics and strong commitment to meeting deadlines. Highly self-motivated and goal oriented Fast learner motivated by new challenges; proven ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies EXPERIENCE Minimum of 7 years’ experience of similar roles, good communication and team skills and have significant experience. Extensive work experience in onshore and offshore projects with validated project management skills Deep technical understanding of facility system design, equipment, construction and commissioning areas An effective influencer competence at project management level and with external stakeholders Skilled at leading through complexity, implementing project in multistakeholder, multi-discipline, multi-cultural environments, with regional and country -specific issues and challenges.
Desirable Criteria: Delivery minded and result focused approach Experience with working complex brownfield scopes while maintain operations alignment Strong networking and communication skills with the ability to influence and achieve outcomes RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES Actively promote HSE commitment through example while ensuring delivery in line with CLIENT ’s expectations of no accidents or injuries. Direct contractors and monitor site interfaces and performance targets to ensure safe and efficient execution of construction activities. Lead multi-discipline integration and alignment across the full project scope in support of a “One Team” agile and collaborative delivery. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between Construction, Quality, Commissioning, Engineering, and Materials teams to maintain planning efficiency and achieve prioritized DMC (Discipline Mechanical Completion) targets. Align with Construction team to ensure consistent planning processes are following the 12-week, 6-week, and 2-week gate criteria. Manage the Construction Work Pack tracking process and identify the gaps and impacts to project schedule. Obtain and Provide all technical inputs for eMOCs scope imitations and ensure all project eMOCs are verified and approved status prior to start the construction activity. Coordinated the receipt, processing, and resolution of Technical Queries and Deviation/Concession Requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Follow the detailed performance management of all project scope and related contracts and ensures contractors are held accountable to agreed contract terms. Ensure project quality requirements are being achieved through regular review including audits and other means as necessary
