Position Overview: 

The Site Procurement Manager is a high impact plant leadership role that is responsible for sourcing and planning within the site. The Site Procurement Manager partners with the plant leadership team to support manufacturing and engineering requirements and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and cost to build competitive advantage for Mercury.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement

Develop and execute site-level procurement strategiesIdentify and execute cost savings initiativesDrive end to end procurement strategies for new product introductions and engineering advancements

Operational Excellence

Ensure uninterrupted supply to meet production needsManage supplier relationships to enhance supply reliability, cost, and innovationEstablish and enforce risk mitigation policiesImplement supplier performance metrics to improve delivery reliabilityAchieve inventory targets aligned with budget operating planOversee supply chain operations and escalate risks as needed

Leadership & Collaboration

Drive continuous improvement in procurement operationsBuild strong relationships with internal teams and external partnersLead process improvement initiativesMentor and develop the Plant 36 Site Procurement TeamProvide the organization with monthly cost reports and cost tracking of current product.

Required Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chainStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsProficient in interpreting engineering drawings, APQP, and PPAPAdvanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, and ProjectExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesDemonstrated integrity and commitment to a high-performance, inclusive culture

Preferred Qualifications:

CPM and/or CPIM certificationLean and Six Sigma certification and practical experience

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,900 to $160,800 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
