Role overview

As site marine construction field engineer you will provide engineering services, technical support and guidance on project marine structures to Worley and its customers, including oversite and supervision within the construction supervision engineering team.

Duties and responsibilities Monitors construction of NPP's marine structures and associated structures; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design. Contributes to the development and implementation of Worley marine construction supervision systems and procedures for the project and performs work in accordance with Worley internal processes and standards. Participates in safety, environmental and hazard assessments. Assists in ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements. Reports on project performance against the baseline plan. Assists in ensuring that Worley sub-contractors are suitably pre-qualified for delivery of the project. Represents Worley at internal and external meetings on the project. Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of customer's correspondence pertaining to site construction of marine structures. Experience and qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, preferably civil. Strong construction oversight skills; 8 years of construction supervision experience in multi-cultural teams. NPP or nuclear-related construction experience is required. In-depth knowledge of waterway and/or submerged civil structures. Sound engineering background. Special job requirements Ability to analyze, communicate, influence and persuade. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus. Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment.
