Site Lead I
Job Description A large equipment supplier in North Phoenix is looking for a candidate to lead a team responsible for delivering service and support to customers at various site locations or service centers. Duties include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, replacing defective parts, and installing components. The Site Lead will coordinate technical support, knowledge transfer, and on-site escalations as needed. Responsibilities also include scheduling personnel for critical situations, maintaining communication with engineering or technical specialists to resolve issues, and ensuring problems are properly escalated. Supervise and guide a team performing maintenance, installations, start-ups, and other service activities at customer sites or service centers. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, manage equipment shipping and receiving, and maintain inventory of spare parts and tools. Order and expedite replacement parts, notify stakeholders when replacements are necessary, and ensure tools and supplies are available for service activities. Prepare and maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime, equipment issues, and service reports. Demonstrate proficiency in using customer systems for reporting. Train new employees, enforce departmental procedures, and address personnel-related issues. Act as a coach and mentor to team members. Provide guidance on operational and maintenance issues, escalate design or technical problems to engineering, and assist in resolving complex issues. Prepare reports on product performance, failure trends, and serviceability concerns. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and training requirements.
