Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Site Inspector - ICT/Comms to join our team in Doha, Qatar. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) installations at various project sites.

Conduct thorough inspections of ICT and communications systems installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and local regulationsReview and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to verify proper installation and configuration of ICT infrastructureIdentify and document any deficiencies, non-conformities, or quality issues during inspectionsCollaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project completionPrepare detailed inspection reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actionsMonitor and evaluate the progress of ICT installations against project timelines and quality benchmarksParticipate in project meetings to provide updates on inspection activities and address any concernsStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations in the ICT and communications fieldEnsure adherence to safety protocols and procedures during site inspectionsMaintain accurate records of all inspection activities and outcomes

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum of 6 years of experience in ICT/Comms site inspection or a related roleIn-depth understanding of ICT infrastructure and communications systemsProficiency in inspecting various ICT and communications systemsStrong knowledge of industry standards, local and international building codes, and regulationsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specificationsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in using inspection software and toolsFamiliarity with project management principlesRelevant industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CompTIA Network+) are preferredWillingness to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, and travel to various project locations as neededAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environment
