Job Description

Role Summary:

Provides day-to-day site inspection for architectural works, ensuring compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough inspections of architectural installations including partitions, ceilings, flooring, and finishes to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.Verify compliance with approved materials, mock-ups, and samples, maintaining a keen eye for detail and consistency.Raise observations, non-conformance reports, and follow up on corrective actions in a timely and efficient manner.Coordinate closely with MEP and structural inspectors to resolve interface issues and ensure seamless integration of all building systems.Document inspection results meticulously and maintain comprehensive daily records for project tracking and reporting purposes.Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure on-site work aligns with design intent.Conduct regular site walks to identify potential issues or discrepancies before they become significant problems.Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to address and resolve architectural-related concerns promptly.Participate in project meetings to provide updates on architectural progress and discuss any challenges or required modifications.Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards throughout the construction process.Monitor and report on the progress of architectural works, including adherence to project timelines and milestones.Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures specific to architectural elements.Provide technical guidance and support to on-site teams regarding architectural matters and best practices.Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection processes and methodologies to enhance overall project quality and efficiency.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in architectural works or related fieldProfessional certification in architecturalProficiency in architectural design, including AutoCAD and RevitIn-depth knowledge of building codes and regulations, particularly those applicable in QatarStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesFamiliarity with sustainable building practices and finishing & interior conceptsAbility to read and interpret complex architectural plans and specificationsWillingness to travel within Qatar, Doha and surrounding areas for on-site inspectionsProficiency in English
