Location: Saint-Vulbas, France (Greater Lyon area)
Contract duration: 22 months (Possibility of extension)

We are seeking an experienced Site HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on an active production site. The role involves implementing HSE plans, monitoring subcontractor compliance, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities Implement and enforce HSE plans and procedures for the site. Verify subcontractors’ HSE plans prior to commencement of work. Define and manage safety programmes including training, inspections, and meetings. Develop and maintain environmental programmes, including waste management plans. Ensure emergency response plans are in place and regularly tested. Conduct safety awareness campaigns and site inspections, enforcing corrective actions. Analyse incidents and near-misses, reporting findings to relevant stakeholders. Prepare and submit weekly HSE activity reports. Liaise with client and contractor teams on HSE matters.
Requirements Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards Experience managing HSE on active production sites Ability to lead meetings and coordinate with multiple stakeholders Skilled in incident analysis and corrective action planning Professional level of French speaking and writing
