**Job Description**
The **Site Engineer - E&M** will be responsible for supervising and managing the execution of electrical and mechanical works at metro project sites. This role requires a professional with a strong engineering background, hands-on experience in E&M systems, and a focus on quality, safety, and timely project delivery. The candidate will coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of E&M systems in metro projects.
Job Duties:
+ Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards at sites.
+ Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders to resolve site-related issues.
+ Review CRD/ Shop drawings, vendor submittals as per technical specifications, and other project documentation.
+ Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements and industry standards.
+ Ensure timely availability of resources, materials, and equipment for uninterrupted site operations.
+ Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of E&M systems, including HVAC, Firefighting, Fire detection and alarm and BMS system.
+ To carry out measurements of E&M works as per approved drawings.
+ Ensure proper integration of E&M systems with other systems.
+ Conduct inspections and ensure that all E&M activities meet the required quality standards.
+ Identify and address any deviations or non-conformities in construction practices at sites.
+ Enforce a safe working environment for all personnel on-site and work is carried out as per safety protocols.
+ Conduct regular safety audits and address any hazards or risks identified.
+ Track project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports for submission to senior management.
+ Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
+ Provide technical guidance to contractors and resolve any engineering-related challenges on-site.
**Qualifications**
+ Graduate degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or related field).
**Additional Information**
+ Minimum 6 years of total professional experience, with at least 2 years of relevant experience in metro projects focused on E&M systems.
+ Hands-on experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of E&M systems in large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred.
