A Belgium based company, predominantly acting as a natural gas transmission operator, we are proud to be able to expand our team in Bruges, Belgium and we are global partners with Airswift who support and deliver our recruitment needs.
We are currently recruiting for a Site Coordinator (Pipelines) Manager to be placed in Bruges, Belgium and would be on a 2 year contract position working on multiple pipeline projects across Belgium.
Responsibilities
You check the quality of the works: plans, specifications, execution methods, etc You are responsible for the follow-up of the procedures for commissioning our pipelines in collaboration with the Project Manager You ensure that the work is carried out correctly and safely, in particular the excavation of existing pipes and cables. You think along with technical solutions if necessary. You take care of the daily follow-up of the safety rules (Checking the instructions, VCA objectives, work preparation, etc.). You manage the planning during the execution of the works (intervention deadlines, coordination with internal and external factors, etc.). You control the budget: control of the performance performed, follow-up of the works under direction and according to the contracts, etc. You will manage the administrative tasks in the execution of the works (Orders, receipt of the equipment, welding books and execution as-built) You will be able to work well with digital applications (cloud, sharepoint)
Skills/Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Mechanics, Electro-mechanics or another technical orientation. A Surveyor's diploma is an asset. A very good knowledge of Dutch and French both orally and in writing An experience in the field of "Piping" is an asset The ability to work digitally and to use a PC (Software, Applications) Sense of initiative and organizational talent, problem-solving – A VCA Diploma « Safety for Operational Managers » and a certificate of Industrial Emergency Responder. If not in possession, these must be obtained within a period of 3 months. You have a recent BA5 diploma or you are willing to receive it within a period of 3 months You are willing to make professional trips between the different sites (in Belgium), if necessary with overnight stays.
