The Mission
The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos has an opening for a Site Asset Staff to support the contract property management team. This role will be provide communications infrastructure upgrades and helping shape policies and improve property management processes across the program.
Primary Tasks:
Successful candidates must possess the following skills:
Possess knowledge of automated inventory control systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office productsExperience ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability and discharge of excess property.Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), property management practices and data entry into SAP/AM are a plus.Ability to lift 50 pounds and carry for 40 feet several times a day.Experience in physical inventorying equipment, as well as proper labeling, tracking, and documenting the movement of IT equipment.Ability to travel about 30% of the year and work under difficult conditions.Possess strong communications skills, to include written and interpersonal skills.Ability to work autonomously with little to no supervision.Education
Candidate must have 8 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a Doctorate and 1 years, master’s and 2 years, bachelor’s and 4 years, associates and 6 years or HS diploma and 8 years.Clearance
Active TS/SCI clearance with specific polygraph is required US Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support.Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data entry into SAP/AM or equivalent system of recordExperience applying a continuous improvement approach in enhancing the strategies employed in technology spending, as well as in tracking company assets within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) throughout their lifecycleExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams (such as engineering, finance, quality assurance/testing, manufacturing and installation) product vendors in order to build a Product that fulfills a product vision and to turn it into business success.Establish and maintain hardware and software maintenance database and historical document recordsStrong knowledge of IT software and hardware, with three or more years of experience working with IT logisticsThree years or more of ITSM tool experience, SAP asset management, and ServiceNowCome break things (in a good way).
