Introduction
We are seeking a Site Account Manager to join our Metso North America team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites, while promoting Metso’s value-added offerings. This involves driving profitable business growth, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Your role plays a crucial part in strengthening customer loyalty and expanding Metso’s aftermarket and capital business, which will positively impact our long-term strategic goals. In this position, you will report to the Regional Sales Director.
This position is primarily based in North America, and involves up to 75% travel to customer sites.
Team You Belong To
You will join a team of customer-focused sales and service professionals who are passionate about delivering high-impact solutions to the mining and aggregates industries. We are currently working on site-level account strategies, aftermarket growth initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration projects to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as field service teams, engineering, operations, and global key account managers. Our team culture is all about collaboration, accountability, and customer-centricity. Team members are located across various regions in North America.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain strong relationships with key site-level decision-makers. Drive profitable business growth from assigned customer sites. Lead account planning and execution, including strategy, budgeting, and sales roadmaps. Coordinate all Metso activities at the site, ensuring alignment and visibility across functions. Identify and communicate customer needs for both aftermarket and capital equipment opportunities. Understand customer operations and articulate Metso’s value proposition effectively. Maintain and share insights on installed base, performance, and shutdown schedules. Support customer satisfaction surveys and continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with accounts receivable and payment collections. Actively contribute to the MA Key Account/Global Key Account Team.
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in spares & wears sales/service. 3–5 years of sales experience in mining or construction, with knowledge of mineral processing equipment. Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Highly motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Physically able to access industrial sites and lift up to 75 lbs as needed. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%). Experience with crushing & screening, bulk material handling, pyro processing, or grinding equipment preferred, but not required.
