About This Role A s CAE’s S imulator Technician , you will join our experience T eam based in Sesto Calende , in Lombardy - Italy, working on advanced level simulators that are preparing the new generation of pilots, but also keep updated the more expert one . Due to the unrivalled range of simulators at our training center, your role will be incredibly varied, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide range of the most modern simulators, systems, and equipment to enhance your technical knowledge and learn your future career from zero. It is a 24/7 operation s the shift pattern will be 4 Days O n & 4 Days O ff , alternating Days and Nights Shifts, so you will be working in the following schedule: 4 D ays S hift + 4 D ays O ff + 4 N ights S hift + 4 D ays Of f and then all over again on 365 years round calendar . Day Shift is from 07:00 to 19:00 = 11 hours of paid work + 1 hour for unpaid lunch break Night Shift is from 19:00 to 07:00 = 11 hours of paid work + 1 hour for unpaid dinner break Lunch or Dinner on duty will be offered from the Company at the Internal Canteen. In this role, the Simulator Technician will together our Expert Technician: + Prepare the Simulation Training Equipment for daily operation for each training device, based on the published monthly schedules. + Loads appropriate exercise scenarios and other tasks required to prepare specific training sessions, while also completing Journey Logs at the start and finish of scheduled training sessions. + Receive training and p erform assignments in office , on site, field, and laboratory. + Some p rojects may be of experimental or design nature.  + S olve a variety of complex simulator and/or aircraft systems problems . Your knowledge will start f rom some experienced in mechanical, Idrolic or Hardware so that you will soon be able to : + Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.  + Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.  + Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities.  + C omplet ing all designated training activities.  + P erforming pre-flight and post flight operations on designated simulators.  + Perform basic visual alignments.  + Help in running automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG).  + Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.  + Learn and comply with CAE quality management system. + Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner . + Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required .  + Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation. + Perform administrative tasks as required .  + Perform tasks to support the technical services group as required Our ideal candidate has: + College D iploma preferably in any of the following: E lectronics / M echatronics / A eronautics / M echanics + Experience in at least one of the above areas + Availability in work ing on F lexible S hifts and adapting to changing work schedules. + A bility to interpret system prints and schematics.  + Knowledge of how to prepare operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multi-meter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).  + Knowledge in analogue and digital theory.  + Computer literate (PC and/or C omputer M ainframe / A rchitecture).  + Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and suite. + Fluency in English and / or Italian About CAE At CAE, we equip people in critical roles with expertise and solutions to create a safer world. Position Type                        12 Months Fixed Term (Italian)   Informazioni sul ruolo:  Come   Tecnico di Simulatore   presso CAE, entrerai a far parte del nostro team esperto con sede a   Sesto Calende, Lombardia , lavorando su simulatori di volo avanzati che preparano la nuova generazione di piloti e mantengono aggiornati anche i più esperti. Grazie all’ampia gamma di simulatori presenti nel nostro centro di addestramento, il tuo ruolo sarà estremamente vario, offrendoti l’opportunità di lavorare su sistemi e attrezzature all’avanguardia per accrescere le tue competenze tecniche e costruire la tua carriera da zero.  L’attività si svolge su turni 24/7 con il seguente schema:  4 giorni di lavoro + 4 giorni di riposo + 4 notti di lavoro + 4 giorni di riposo , ripetuto durante tutto l’anno.  Turno diurno : 07:00 – 19:00 → 11 ore lavorative retribuite + 1 ora di pausa pranzo non retribuita  Turno notturno : 19:00 – 07:00 → 11 ore lavorative retribuite + 1 ora di pausa cena non retribuita  Il pranzo o la cena durante il turno saranno offerti dall’azienda presso la mensa interna.   CAE promuove un ambiente di apprendimento, sviluppo e crescita. Avrai accesso a una vasta gamma di sistemi per sviluppare le tue competenze tecniche.   Nel Ruolo il Tecnico di Simulatori insieme ai no stri tecnici esperti:   + Prepar erai l’attrezzatura di simulazione per le operazioni quotidiane, secondo i programmi mensili.  + Caric herai gli scenari di esercitazione e completano i registri di bordo all’inizio e alla fine delle sessioni.  + Ricev erai formazione e svolg erai compiti in ufficio, sul campo e in laboratorio.  + Partecip erai a progetti sperimentali o di progettazione.  + Risolv erai problemi complessi relativi ai simulatori o d ai sistemi aeronautici.  Competenze che svilupperai :   + Manutenzione preventiva dei simulatori e dei sistemi associati.  + Diagnosi e risoluzione dei problemi tecnici.  + Utilizzo del sistema di gestione della manutenzione.  + Supporto nelle attività di formazione.  + Operazioni pre e post volo sui simulatori.  + Allineamenti visivi di base.   + Esecuzione di test automatici (QTG).  + Supporto in modifiche hardware e ristrutturazioni.  + Conformità al sistema di gestione della qualità CAE.  + Supporto al cliente e gestione delle richieste.  + Pulizia e manutenzione dei simulatori.  + Gestione logistica (ricezione pezzi, riparazioni, test).  + Attività amministrative e supporto tecnico.    Il candidato ideale possiede :   + Diploma: Elettronica / Meccatronica / Aeronautica / Meccanica  + Esperienza pregressa almeno un una delle aree sopra descritte + Disponibilità a lavorare su turni flessibili.  + Capacità di interpretare schemi elettrici e disegni tecnici.  + Conoscenza d egli strumenti di test (oscilloscopio, multimetro, generatore di segnali, analizzatore logico, ecc.).  + Conoscenze base di teoria analogica e digitale.  + Competenze informatiche (PC e/o architettura di sistemi).  + Abilità nella saldatura e riparazione di circuiti stampati.  + Conoscenza base del pacchetto Microsoft Office.  + Conoscenza fluente della lingua inglese e/o italiana.    Informazioni su CAE   CAE fornisce soluzioni e competenze per ruoli critici, contribuendo a creare un mondo più sicuro.
