Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for an experienced Simulation Engineer to join a cutting-edge nuclear operations team.
This direct-hire role focuses on developing and maintaining simulation models that power the control room simulator—a critical tool for plant operations and operator training.

Key Requirement – GSE Simulation Software
To be considered, candidates must have direct experience with GSE Simulation Software such as: SimExec, JTopmeret, or JElectric.
This experience is required and essential to success in the role.
What You’ll Do
Develop and update plant simulation models using GSE Simulation Software tools.
Accurately reflect engineering documentation into simulator models.
Support development, testing, and operation of the control room simulator.
Identify and troubleshoot defects, ensuring simulator performance and reliability.
Collaborate with nuclear operators and engineers to improve model fidelity.
Perform limited hardware setup and maintenance (computers, monitors, cables).
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of software development experience.
3+ years of simulation or modeling development experience.
Required: Proficiency in GSE Simulation Software (SimExec, JTopmeret, or JElectric).
Strong programming skills in Fortran, C++, and/or Python.
Experience with configuration tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub.
Familiarity with thermal-hydraulic and neutronic analysis codes (RELAP5, TRACE, Simulate3, MCNP) preferred.
Understanding of P&IDs and thermal-hydraulic principles is a plus.
Must be eligible under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.
