We offer competitive compensation for students including the following: + Salariesstarting from **$3,300 per month** (based on your year in school and previous experience). + **Temporaryliving allowance** for interns moving to the area for the role. **WhatYou’ll Do** When you join our team as a Silviculture Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with our Silviculture team on a variety of duties, including assisting with the implementation of silviculture programs on the Pineland and Spanish Forests, monitoring silviculture contractor performance (tree planting, site preparation, aerial tending), and conducting various silvicultural surveys. **WhatYou Offer** + Currently enrolled in a recognized university or college forestry program. + Have a minimum of one field season of experience or an interest in silviculture. + Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, ArcView GIS, GPS technology. + Have a valid driver’s license. + Physically fit and able to spend considerable time working in a forested environment. + Able to work with clients and contractors to produce positive results. **WhoWe Are** At Interfor, our culture is built on integrity, respect, and collaboration.
