SIL Engineering Technician

Summary: Seeking an SIL Engineering Technician skilled in fabricating interconnecting cables and performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench and lab infrastructure equipment.

Requirements:

Ability to crimp and assemble connector contacts to aircraft standards Proficient in soldering to the J-STD Read and understand aircraft level wiring diagrams Read and interpret mechanical drawings for metal fabrication Familiar with test equipment use, troubleshooting, and repair of wiring Experience with serial data interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, IEEE-488 Experience installing fiberoptic cabling for reflective memory hardware Safe use of hand tools and shop equipment

Preferred Skills:

Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred Military experience in related aircraft/systems maintenance is a plus

Responsibilities:

Fabricate interconnecting cables based on engineering drawings Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench equipment

Pay Details: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour
