Siemens Mobility Thailand is looking for a Signalling Installation, Test & Commissioning Manager in Bangkok office.
This is your role. What part will you play?
The key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Planning, coordination and supervision of the technically correct, on-schedule and cost-effective installation of signalling equipment Involvement in site set-up, in particular assessing needs and requesting and coordinating site set-up Planning of resources for installation and commissioning staff Ensure the customer’s input and involvement in applying for operational restrictions and changes to enable the installation of equipment Documentation of the installation of signalling components (installation records) in line with specified guidelines; where required, updating of the as-built documents and asset register Functional management of the installation staff, including their briefing with regard to specific tasks, safe systems of work and supervision of work performance Involvement in checking the accrued installation costs, comparison with installation progress and the project’s cost specifications, and early notification of the project manager in the case of excess costs Acceptance of installation work performed by subcontractors, including checking of the scope of installation work and take-over of the relevant work performance documents Involvement in logistics planning, checking of the flow of materials on site, acceptance of goods including checking for damage, and transportation of materials from the site storage facility to the installation location Support of the project manager in risk and claim management by documenting additional services, missing customer-supplied items and obstructions (establishing the situation concerned) Detection and assessment of project-related risks and opportunities and, where applicable, preparation of suggestions to minimize risks and use opportunities Determination of the test strategy and preparation of test planning (in consultation with the project manager and test manager in Germany) Risk analysis for testing, and definition of appropriate measures to minimize these risks Identification of the test staff involved, and ordering of testing on site Evaluation and summarization of test results, prepare test reports Regular reporting on test progress and fault statistics (test status) to the project Manager Assurance of the performance of functional tests and commissioning activitiesUse your skills to move the world forward.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Railway Engineering, or a related field. Direct experience in metro projects for the railway industry in Signalling Installation, Test & Commissioning Detail oriented, planning skills, project execution and teamwork ability Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Effective communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Fluent in written and spoken English languageWhy you’ll love working for Siemens Mobility
