What this job involves:

As a Signage Design Manager at JLL, you will lead workplace signage initiatives by developing and implementing scalable signage solutions across our portfolio while driving innovation in automated production systems and creating new standards for efficiency. This strategic leadership role combines design expertise with technical proficiency, requiring you to establish enterprise-wide strategies for automated signage production systems while creating comprehensive digital template libraries and brand assets that enable consistent, rapid implementation. You will play a crucial role in JLL's commitment to delivering exceptional workplace experiences by managing complex projects, mentoring team members, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and maintaining deep understanding of tactical aspects of signage production while translating complex information into clear, visually appealing designs that align with broader business objectives.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies for automated signage production systems while establishing new methodologies for comprehensive digital template librariesCreate high-impact visual content across digital and print media including temporary signage while demonstrating advanced proficiency in design softwareLead project intake and stakeholder meetings while managing multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and budgets with effective resource allocationEstablish automated workflows and quality control protocols that maintain brand integrity while maximizing efficiency through new tools and technologiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align signage solutions with business objectives while translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersServe as subject matter expert for enterprise-wide signage program innovation while mentoring junior team members and providing technical guidanceMonitor and analyze production metrics to identify opportunities for process automation while streamlining approval processes through digital review toolsPartner with leadership to align program strategies with business objectives while developing standards that become organizational benchmarks.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field with 6+ years of progressive experience in signage design and production including project leadershipAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skillsDemonstrated expertise in typography, production techniques, large-format printing, and mounting solutions with portfolio of successful design projectsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information effectively and maintain strong client relationshipsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision while making sound technical decisions based on established standardsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities to comprehend complex requirements and recommend process improvementsDetail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage priorities while meeting deadlines and adhering to quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with automated production systems and digital template library developmentBackground in enterprise-wide signage program management and implementationKnowledge of brand asset management and automated workflow developmentFamiliarity with risk management frameworks and quality standards in design productionExperience with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management in corporate environmentsUnderstanding of workplace signage strategies and implementation guidelinesBackground in mentoring team members and providing technical guidance across regions.
