What this job involves:

As a Signage Design and Guidelines Specialist at JLL, you'll create compelling visual communications that transform our clients' spaces through high-impact temporary signage and print/digital materials. Your creative expertise will help translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals that maintain brand integrity while meeting diverse business needs. This individual contributor role combines artistic talent with technical precision and project management skills, directly contributing to JLL's ability to deliver exceptional visual solutions that enhance workplace experiences and communication strategies for our clients.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Create high-impact visual content across digital and print media, with special focus on temporary signage solutionsLead project intake meetings, manage multiple concurrent design projects, and maintain timelines and budgetsDevelop versatile templates and production-ready artwork that adheres to established brand guidelinesPartner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and present design concepts to stakeholdersPrepare print-ready files and provide installation specifications and placement recommendationsMaintain brand assets and workplace signage guidelines while optimizing workflowsMonitor industry trends and implement best practices in visual communication

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related fieldMinimum 4 years of professional graphic design experience, particularly in print materials and temporary signageAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)Demonstrated expertise in typography, production techniques, and large-format printing solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex information effectivelyStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing for corporate environments or real estate industryKnowledge of environmental graphic design principles and wayfinding systemsExperience managing client relationships and expectationsUnderstanding of various mounting solutions and materials for temporary signageIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office SuiteBackground in process improvement and workflow optimizationExperience with digital asset management systems

Location: Hybrid (3+ days onsite at Belen, Costa Rica office, remainder optional work from home)
