Shuttle Motor Vehicle Dispatcher

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) is looking for a Motor Vehicle Dispatcher for Go-Transit Shuttle Service on joint Base Lewis McChord. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
**Responsibilities**
+ This position is responsible for the assignment of motor vehicles and drivers for conveyance of passengers, and coordinates with passengers and drivers facilitating transportation needs over the phone or through an online application (TRANSLOC)
+ Additional responsibilities include the issuance of keys, iPads, record sheets, and dispatch packets/fuel cards.
+ The Dispatcher records passenger or driver incidents, maintenance schedules, and coordinates breaks and lunches for drivers with minimum interruption to wait times for passengers.
+ The Dispatcher will confer with customers to expedite transportation or facilitate special needs.
+ The Dispatcher maintains records of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses.
+ The dispatcher will also assist the Shuttle Fleet Supervisor in administrative responsibilities and reporting to the Transportation Movements Manager.
**Qualifications**
+ Excellent Customer Service Skills.
+ Working knowledge (proficient) of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
+ Prior Dispatching Experience with a shuttle service, or similar customer service roll.
+ Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
+ Ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 investigation result and obtain and maintain a CAC.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
