Wood is currently sourcing for a Shutdown Planner on temporary basis, initial duration is for circa 8 months.
The position will be supporting shutdown preparation for two client FPSO’s offshore Angola. Role can be based remotely, or in Angola (Luanda), but should be able to visit client Luanda office as required, with possible requirements to attend Wood regional offices.
Please note this is an Expression of Interest position at present but we anticipate the position will proceed with a view to starting asap.
The shutdown planner is responsible for maintaining the detailed shutdown plans for all shutdown activities. This includes the WBS, layouts, scheduled dates, durations, logic links and filters. The shutdown planner will manage the shutdown meetings ensuring correct attendees are invited, and the reporting narrative is issued with each progressed plan issue.
Must be experienced in Primavera and shutdown activity sequencing, including ramp-down and ramp-up of shutdown activities. Candidate must have solid understanding of maintenance, projects, integrity, and other requirements typically related to shutdown events. Role will coordinate with the work preparer/planners/schedulers during the planning phase and work with field Coordinators, Contractors, Operations, Project and Discipline Engineering Groups.
Scope of planning role includes all aspects of shutdown planning, incl. preparation planning and scheduling, shutdown, decontamination, maintenance, project execution, commissioning, and restart; and lookbacks for learnings and future planning.
To act at all times in accordance with policies on Health, Safety and Environmental and proactively manage all shutdown activities accordingly.
