Job Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated Shred Driver to join our Operations team in Auckland. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate, efficient, and safe daily transport and delivery of secure destruction materials. You will join a dedicated team focused on maintaining high standards of confidentiality and quality while supporting the overall success of our Auckland operations.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

Execute secure logistics operations by safely operating heavy company vehicles to perform the timely delivery and collection of secure shred bins and destruction materials.

Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve queries professionally while ensuring all service level agreements are met through accurate data gathering and reporting.

Ensure strict compliance with safety and security standards, including performing vehicle pre-start checks and adhering to Work Health, Safety, and Environment (WHS&E) requirements and secure transport protocols.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

At least 1 year of experience driving heavy vehicles comparable in size to large trucks within a transport or logistics environment.

Strong technical knowledge of secure transport, including the ability to operate handheld scanners and manage load restraints effectively.

Proven ability to work independently and communicate professionally with customers while maintaining a high level of attention to detail

Current New Zealand Class 1, 2, and 4 Drivers Licenses along with a valid New Zealand Forklift Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) certificate.
