Ferguson is seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Supervisor. **Position Details** + Reports to Branch Manager + Direct oversight of one associate + Schedule: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 9am-5pm + Pay: starting at $30 per hour or higher depending on experience **Responsibilities** + Work with customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, high end fixtures and cabinetry + Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information + Lead and support a team of associates while being able to initiate and embrace change + Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while using suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately + Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field + Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, address and resolve customer complaints **Qualifications** + Prior sales leadership experience is ideal coupled with sales and customer service experience + A strong sales presence + Problem solving, leadership and listening skills + Organizational and time management skills + The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge + Understand the basics of design and interior decorating + Strong mentor skills and desire to train others + Able to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for the varying needs of the customer At Ferguson, we care for each other.
