Short Term - Para Facilitator
School Aide (Paraprofessional) – Maternity Leave Coverage Schedule: Full-Time, 35 hours/week Estimated Start Date: February 9, 2026 Duration: Approximately 39 weeks (with potential extension through June) About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Aide (Paraprofessional) to support students requiring instructional and/or behavioral assistance. This position works under the supervision of the Special Education Department, classroom teacher, and other designated professionals. In this role, you will also assist students with personal, physical mobility, or therapeutic care needs as outlined by qualified healthcare or rehabilitation professionals. This position will primarily support students receiving virtual therapy services. The assignment begins February 9th, 2026, covering a maternity leave, with an anticipated end date in April; however, there is a strong possibility of extension through June or transition into another opening. Responsibilities + Provide instructional, behavioral, and emotional support to students. + Assist students participating in virtual therapy sessions. + Support teachers and special education staff with daily classroom activities. + Assist with mobility, personal care, or therapeutic needs as directed. + Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. + Follow all professional, district, and legal requirements.
