Job Description

Lead/Manage (8-10) Repair Technicians. This is a hands on role, along with scheduling, training, and overseeing technician. Responsible of the repair technician is to repair, assembly, calibration, and diagnostics of all types of valves, actuators, and related instruments. The role involves evaluating and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators, as well as pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in-process inspection, machining, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection on various types of valves and actuators. Additionally, the position includes calibration and testing of valves, related instruments, and process instrumentation, assembly of new and repaired equipment, and documenting repair, testing, and assembly activities including cause of failure, actions taken, and parts used.

Responsibilities

Schedule repair technician for service call/repairsDevelop technician Repair, assemble, calibrate, and diagnose all types of valves, actuators, and related instruments.Evaluate and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric actuators.Conduct pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in-process inspection, machining, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection on various types of valves and actuators.Calibrate and test valves, related instruments, and process instrumentation.Assemble new and repaired equipment.Document repair, testing, and assembly activities, including cause of failure, actions taken, and parts used.Communicate with customers for technical assistance, troubleshooting, and determining disposition of repairs.Adhere to all safety, quality, and company rules/regulations.Complete site-specific safety requirements.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gahanna, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
