Job Description:

Operate shop equipment safely while assisting with production, material handling, and general shop operations. Read work orders and blueprints, perform basic finishing tasks, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide assistance across departments as needed.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate shop equipment to ensure work is completed without injury to personnel or damage to machinery.Review work orders, production schedules, and technical drawings to understand delivery timelines, quality standards, and job requirements.Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine job scope and identify the most efficient methods to complete tasks.Maintain drawings and travelers with parts throughout the production process.Support the Shipping and Receiving department with the receipt, storage, and handling of materials.

Education: High School

Experience: 24 months

Skills:

Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructionsForklift experience preferred but not requiredWilling to learn new skills
