**Job Title: Shop Helper**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a diligent and hardworking Shop Helper to maintain cleanliness and organization within the shop, assist in preparing jobs for shipping, and perform various other duties as required.
**Responsibilities**
+ Clean the shop and yard to maintain a safe and organized environment.
+ Use a grinder to clean steel, ensuring all materials are ready for use.
+ Assist in packing up jobs for shipping, following proper procedures to ensure safe delivery.
+ Perform other duties as assigned to support shop operations.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in general labor and the use of hand tools.
+ Proficiency in using power tools and grinding equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with power and air tools is required.
+ Basic understanding of English, both written and spoken, is necessary.
+ Forklift experience is an asset.
+ Experience with overhead cranes is an asset.

**Work Environment**
Work during the night shift from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. The role offers a dynamic environment where the use of various power and air tools is integral. The shop prioritizes safety and comfort, providing necessary equipment and attire for all tasks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ferndale, Washington.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
