🔧 ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate daily operations of the diesel mechanic shopAssign tasks and oversee work performed by mechanics and techniciansDiagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine issues, electrical systems, and hydraulicsEnsure timely completion of repairs and preventive maintenanceMaintain safety standards and compliance with company policiesTrain and mentor junior mechanicsCommunicate with fleet managers and vendors regarding parts and service needsMaintain accurate service records and work orders🧰 QualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic; supervisory experience preferredStrong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systemsProficiency with diagnostic tools and repair softwareExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsValid CDL (preferred but not required)ASE certifications a plus💼 What We OfferCompetitive hourly wage of $35.00/hrHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offRetirement plan options
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
