**Description**
**Position Title:** Shipping Transportation Coordinator
**Principle Responsibilities:**
· Input information from bills of lading into Microsoft Excel
· Assist drivers through the pick-up process and necessary weight adjustments
· Accompany drivers to check on temperatures and seal trailers
· Obtain drivers information and reach out to them when their load is complete
· Track weights and ship times for outbound loads
· Receive paperwork for inbound shipments and returns, and direct drivers to the correct area for offloading
· Maintain files containing daily sign in sheets and inbound shipment information
**Qualifications:**
· Basic computer skills required in Outlook and Excel. Experience with transportation software is preferred.
· Ability to work in fast paced environment.
· Ability to multi-task.
· Ability to work independently.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
**Education:** High school diploma or GED required.
