Shipping Supervisor

**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced **Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor** to lead daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations while driving a strong culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance cost-effective freight management, operational excellence, and employee engagement to support both internal and external customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as a **safety leader** , proactively working to eliminate accidents and reduce at-risk conditions.
+ Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound freight in the most cost-effective and time-efficient manner.
+ Supervise and support Forklift Operators in loading/unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
+ Build and maintain high morale within the department through fairness, consistency, and employee engagement, while maintaining confidentiality.
+ Participate in daily Production Meetings and collaborate with Operations to meet customer delivery requirements.
+ Coordinate with Sales and Customer Service teams to ensure **on-time delivery** of customer orders.
+ Prepare and organize all outbound shipment documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
+ Recommend and implement freight optimization strategies to achieve cost, quality, delivery, and service goals.
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with freight carriers and logistics partners.
+ Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company housekeeping standards.
+ Support, implement, and enforce all company policies, procedures, and safety programs.
**Qualifications:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ **Experience:** 3–5 years of related logistics, warehouse, or transportation management experience required.
+ Strong knowledge of freight scheduling, carrier relationships, and warehouse operations.
+ Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and coach a team.
+ Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.

**Pay Details:** $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
