Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be Doing• Oversee daily cement packing and bulk shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment across truck, rail.• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams to align shipping schedules with plant output and customer demand• Monitor and enforce compliance with MSHA, DOT, and environmental regulations, as well as internal safety and quality standards• Lead, train, and support shipping personnel to maintain high performance, accountability, and safe work practices• Analyze shipping workflows and implement lean process improvements to reduce bottlenecks, minimize product loss, and optimize inventory movement• Maintain accurate documentation of shipments, inventory levels, and equipment usage using plant systems and ERP toolsWhat Are We Looking ForProven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detailKnowledge of shipping procedures, inventory systems, and material handling equipmentEffective communication and collaboration across departmentsCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementWork Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing and warehouse setting, involving exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. The position requires standing, walking, and operating equipment throughout the shift.
