We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving position on mid that verifies and submits documents on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Compensation: The starting pay is $19 per hour or more, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate all incoming freight, receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers. Inspect all incoming RMA (return to manufacturer) cylinders and complete the inspection sheet. Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment, and prepare the BOL (bill of lading). Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times Work in accordance with all company policies relating to health & safety Act as a backup to other departments as necessary Other duties as assignedPhysical Job Requirements
Must be able to drive a forklift safely Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment. Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
Essential
High School Diploma or GED required Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers preferred Must be able to obtain Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 Certification within 3 months of hire Fork Lift Certification License Material Handling equipment familiarity Able to use Microsoft word and excel or equivalent.
