Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Shipping Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be part of the logistics department supporting the overall operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Shipping Clerk
**Location:** Holliston, MA
**Pay Range:** $20 Hr
**Schedule:** Mon-Fri | 7am-3pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Deliver miscellaneous parts, raw material, work in process, and finished goods to the correct location.
+ Maintain certification to drive a fork truck (electric or gas powered) through the National Safety Council.
+ Learn the processes of material flow through the manufacturing process and recognize up to 8 different major categories of parts and materials.
+ Condense work in process to maintain effective use of space.
+ Cross-train in a variety of positions and work as a team member to ensure a well-coordinated process within the department and between departments.
**What's Needed?**
+ No prior experience required.
+ Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Effective communication skills.
