**Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Parts Specialist** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Parts Specialist to ensure smooth operations in our shipping department. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our shipping processes and involves a variety of responsibilities from packaging to using shipping software. **Responsibilities** + Complete the daily shipping report. + Use computer software to ship, track, check, and route orders. + Answer emails and questions regarding shipments. + Package parts per instructions; complete related documents such as packing slips, inspection documents, shipping-related work orders, labels, and bills of lading. + Report to management or lead on activities and issues. + Perform visual and dimensional inspection on SLA parts prior to packaging. + Order shipping-related supplies as needed. + Ensure work areas are kept clean and orderly. **Essential Skills** + Experience in shipping and receiving. + Proficiency in data entry and production tasks. + Strong computer skills, including MS Office. + Knowledge of UPS Worldship and FedEx Shipping programs. + Experience with international shipping is a huge plus. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Verbal and written communication skills. + Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds frequently. + Attention to detail and quality conscious. + Ability to use basic measuring tools. + Ability to maintain strict confidentiality. + Organizational and communication skills. + Good knowledge of forklift operation. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team where your contributions are valued and recognized. The facility maintains a clean and orderly atmosphere to ensure safety and efficiency. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
