What You'll Be Doing:
As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that all inbound and outbound shipments are handled with care and accuracy. Here are some of the exciting responsibilities you can expect:

Receive and Verify: You'll be the first point of contact for inbound shipments, receiving them and ensuring that they match the bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders. Your keen eye for detail will be invaluable in spotting any discrepancies and making sure everything is in order. Inspect and Organize: Taking pride in your work, you'll inspect packages for any damage and mark the receiving date on all packing slips. You'll then carefully label and allocate deliveries to their designated places, ensuring that our inventory is properly stocked and organized. You might even get the chance to show off your forklift skills! Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory is essential, and you'll play a crucial role in daily cycle counting, inventory reporting, and adjusting inventory as needed. You'll collaborate closely with our Purchasing and Accounting departments to resolve any discrepancies and keep our operations running smoothly. Preparing for Shipment: You'll be responsible for preparing products for shipment according to scheduled ship dates set by our planning team. This includes verifying orders, packaging them properly, labeling them accordingly, and ensuring that all required documents are completed. Your attention to detail will help us maintain our reputation for delivering excellence. Supplier Relations: Building strong relationships with our suppliers is vital, and you'll occasionally pick up and deliver parts from various suppliers. Your friendly demeanor and professionalism will ensure smooth interactions and timely deliveries. Quality Assurance: As part of our commitment to quality, you'll perform visual and physical inspections of received items, ensuring that they meet our high standards. You'll also assist with minor manufacturing operations as needed, using hand tools for tasks such as building crates, packing larger items, bead blasting, polishing, and more. Clean and Organized: A clean and organized workspace is essential for efficient operations. You'll take responsibility for keeping shelving, inventory, and shipping areas clean and organized. Additionally, you'll maintain an inventory of shipping supplies and communicate with the Purchasing department when supplies need to be replenished.What You Bring to the Team:
