Job Description
As a Shipping Loader, you will play a crucial role in the logistics process by ensuring that materials are safely and efficiently transported, stored, and managed within the facility. Your responsibilities will include inspecting shipments, operating material-handling equipment, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
ResponsibilitiesInspect incoming shipments for damaged items, discrepancies, or other issues, and report findings to the supervisor or production team.Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to transport items within the facility.Safely operate an overhead crane with experience lifting up to 35 pounds.Store materials in designated locations, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy access for production needs.Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory activities to maintain accurate stock levels.Coordinate with the purchasing, production, and quality assurance teams to resolve any discrepancies with shipments.Follow all safety protocols and ensure the workspace is clean and organized, complying with OSHA and company regulations.Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements in the receiving and inventory control processes.Essential SkillsProficient in shipping and receiving, rigging, crane operation, and material handling.Skilled in operating a forklift, combi lift, and hydraulic liftgate.Crane certified and experienced in inventory control.Ability to inspect and coordinate the shipping of large freight pieces.Additional Skills & Qualifications1-2 years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or HVAC-related industry.Familiarity with ERP systems, with EPICOR experience being a plus.High school diploma or equivalent.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Knowledge of HVAC systems or manufacturing processes is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required. The role demands good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. The facility is modern and air-conditioned, located in Mesa, Arizona, and includes amenities like electric charging stations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
