Job Requirements
Previous logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations experience
Experience with international shipping processes and documentation
Experience building wooden crates and using a nail gun and shipping stapler
Proficiency with standard computer and shipping software systems
Ability to comply with all shipping laws, regulations, and international requirements
Ability to work on-site in Chelmsford as needed
Preferred Skills
Experience negotiating rates and services with transportation companies
Background in planning shipment routes and consolidating loads
Prior experience packaging and shipping spare parts orders
Experience tracking transport costs, shipment status, and efficiency metrics
Job Responsibilities
Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer shipments
Work with customers to determine preferred shipment requirements and communicate details to sales and production teams
Package and ship all spare parts orders accurately and on schedule
Negotiate with transportation companies to obtain cost-effective, reliable shipping options
Plan routes, schedule carriers, and process shipments
Track transport costs and performance to support cost and efficiency targets
Resolve shipping issues, customer complaints, and shipping damage claims
Meet established cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets
Ensure compliance with all shipping laws, regulations, and international shipping requirements
Pay Details: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour
