**Now Hiring: Shipping Lead** **Location:** Clifton, NJ **Salary Range:** $23 - $23/hour **Schedule:** Full-Time, Flexible Schedule (Includes weekends/holidays) Adecco is hiring a **Shipping Lead** in Clifton, NJ! We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced leader to oversee daily shipping operations, support warehouse staff, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a high-paced cold storage environment. **Position Summary:** The **Shipping Lead** is a critical role that supports the Warehouse Supervisor by coordinating shipping activities and leading a team of warehouse associates. This individual ensures all outgoing shipments are accurate, safe, and comply with GMP and food safety standards. A strong focus is placed on leadership, coaching, and developing hourly warehouse team members. **Key Responsibilities:** **1. Personnel Management** + Train all shipping team members on processes, safety, and GMP compliance + Review and verify all paperwork and data entries for accuracy + Assist with employee scheduling and participate in evaluations + Ensure proper breaks and lunch schedules are observed + Enforce safe and efficient use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) + Support disciplinary processes when needed **2. Shipping & Inventory** + Validate all outbound shipments and complete safety chain documentation + Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to customer service + Use **Batchmaster** to record inventory movement + Check drivers in/out and complete BOLs and seal assignments **3. Facility Maintenance** + Keep all storage areas, docks, and equipment clean and organized + Ensure machines are charged and ready for use + Provide break coverage for Desk Clerk as needed **4. Food Safety & Compliance** + Maintain accurate stock rotation (FIFO) and traceability records + Inspect inventory for quality and sanitation issues + Monitor freezer/storage temperatures and enforce allergen segregation + Follow proper receiving and handling procedures **5.
