Position Title:Shipping Attendant

Location:Greeley, CO Value Added Plant
JBS is seeking an hourly Shipping Team Member! Position starts at $22.50 per hour with the ability to go up to $25.00/hour plus $0.10/hour Shift Differential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strictly follow and promote the companies First In First Out practices Responsible for accuracy of inventory and order fill ratesOrganization of box cooler, freezer, and shipping dockResponsible for total quality of product shipped out including but not limited to leaker control, box integrity, pallet integrity, trailer configuration, trailer temperature, etc. Understand and maintain product flow and proceduresCommunicate with leads and supervisionMaintain labor standards and paceUnderstand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirementsMaintain package integrityMonitor and confirm equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient productionOperate a forklift and/or pallet jackCompleting receiving documentation (temp checking) Other duties assigned
Qualifications:
Authorized to work in the US18 years of age or moreAbility to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as neededRead/write in EnglishRequires ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbsRequires ability to stand and walk for long periods of timeRequires ability to work in a manufacturing settingAbility to conduct repetitive motion
Work Environment:
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
