As the Shipping Coordinator, you will oversee and coordinate all shipping activities, including domestic and international shipments, rail car movements, training records management, and communicate with internal teams and external carriers to ensure compliance with regulations and delivery of products.

Responsibilities:
Be the primary contact for carriers, ensuring shipping on time and in-full (OTIF) performance.Coordinate rail car movements and provide the local railway with car moves for the entire plant.Compile and prepare a comprehensive packet of paperwork for Distribution Operators, including T.O., BOL, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Import/Export documentation (IMO), dock receipts, seals, SOLAS documentation, and any other required paperwork.Be the system administrator for TRIM, providing training coordinators with appropriate access for PPG and ContractorsObtain lot numbers from multiple supervisors and ensure the correct lot is selected in SAP.Enter shipment information into SAP and close/PGI shipments once they leave the plant.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required1+ year of shipping, order entry, or similar experienceProficiency in SAP and Oracle systems preferred;Experience with shipping documentation and compliance preferredKnowledge of DOT regulations and shipping compliance is a plusPPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
