Your Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join our global logistics team. This role will coordinate the full cycle of international shipments—ensuring compliance with all global trade regulations and supporting the timely and efficient delivery of critical life science products to our global customers. This position is based in St. Louis at 2425 South Second Street.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end international shipping process for outbound and inbound shipmentsEnsure shipments comply with international trade regulations, including customs documentation, incoterms, export controls, and hazardous goods handlingCollaborate with internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Sales, Regulatory, Warehouse) to address and resolve shipment issuesPartner with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure on-time deliveryMaintain shipment records and ensure accurate entry of documentation in internal systems (e.g., SAP)Monitor daily logistics performance metrics and provide insights or recommendations for operational improvementsMaintain a strong safety culture by following all regulatory and company safety protocols and promoting safe practices within logistics operationsAssist in internal or external audits and support reporting activities1st Shift:  9:00 am - 5:30 pm CT

 

 

Who You Are

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 High School Diploma or GED1+ years of experience in domestic, international planning, logistic coordination or trade compliance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in supply chain, Business, or International Trade1–3 years of experience specifically in SAP modules related to logistics, shipping, or order processingExperience working in a regulated industry such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or chemicalsFamiliarity with IATA, IMDG, DOT, and hazardous materials shipping regulationsCertification in International Trade or Logistics (e.g., CITT, IATA, APICS)Work independently and adapt in a fast-paced, global environmentWorking knowledge of international trade regulations, documentation, and incotermsProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
